FAQ

FAQ
Here are answers to some common questions about hypnotherapy and how the process works.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention where you remain aware and in control. It allows us to work more directly with the subconscious to create change.

Will I lose control?
No. You remain aware and in control at all times. Hypnosis is not mind control.

What does it feel like?
Most people experience a calm, focused state similar to deep relaxation. You can hear everything and respond normally.

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the situation. Some issues resolve quickly, while others benefit from a more structured approach over several sessions.

Does hypnotherapy really work?
When the underlying patterns are addressed, change tends to be more natural and lasting compared to approaches focused only on symptoms.

Can everyone be hypnotized?
Most people can enter hypnosis as long as they are willing and open to the process.

Is hypnotherapy safe?
Yes. Hypnosis is a safe and natural state that people experience regularly, such as when deeply focused or absorbed in an activity.

Why not just use willpower or other methods?
Many approaches focus on managing symptoms. This work focuses on resolving the underlying patterns, which allows for more lasting change..

Hypnosis is not a substitute for your medical care and in no way should replace it. Your Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist works in concert with health professionals and makes sure that he does not interfere with your medical treatments.

Hypnotherapy is safe, comfortable and free of side effects.
